Opening new building September 2011
In May 2009 our building has completely been damaged because of a devastating fire. After 2 years of hard work and improvisation of our employees from temporary production sites and offices, we are more than pleased to be reunited in one building.
Mr Jan Kamminga, president of the Association of enterprises in the technological and industrial sector, FME has officially opened our new building.
Our guests had the opportunity to have a guided tour around the factory and get an impression of our production process with our brand new equipment.
We are fully aware that we could not have achieved this without the help and understanding of our agents, customers and suppliers in dealing with our – sometimes probably – impossible requests. We thank you all for that!
From the new building with all brand new machinery, calibration and measuring equipment, we are able to offer measurement and control systems for the marine and process industry.
The most advanced, reliable and cost-effective technology is needed to compete in the competitive market and to make sure that we continuously innovate our products.
Our official opening ceremony has been linked to the work of UNICEF. We were very pleased to receive many donations for Unicef and other beautiful presents on this festive occasion. In total we have received € 8.500,= for the benefit of Unicef from our guestst. We have doubled this amount and therefore have donated in total € 17.000,=. UNICEF has sent us a letter of thanks for the contribution.
It has been an important milestone for us and we can say that we are very ready for the future now!
