Introduction


There is a wide range of Alarm Units (E.R./Bridge) available.
 
  • Signum 6:
    		•  The small 6 points digital alarm unit.
     
  • Signum 10:
    		•  The 10 points digital alarm unit with short circuit and
    wire break detection.
     
  • Alpha 8:
    		•  The 8 points analogue alarm unit for standardized
    analogue signals.
     
  • BNWAS:
    		•  The detection unit for operator inactivity at the bridge.
     

    Signum 6

    The Signum 6 has the following specifications:
    • 6 digital inputs.
    • 2 inputs for use as lock.
    • 1 input for use as group.
    • 3 outputs (open collector).
    • Fully programmable with the SimCON 6 software package.
    • No need for cables to program the unit.
     

    Signum 10

    The Signum 10 has the following specifications:
    • 10 digital inputs with wire break and short circuit detection.
    • 6 control inputs for use as lock or group.
    • 13 outputs (open collector).
    • Programmable with buttons on the front.
    • Fully programmable with the SimCON 10 software package.
    • No need for cables to program the unit.
     

    Alpha 8

    The Alpha 8 has the following specifications:
    • 8 analogue inputs for voltage, current or thermocouple.
    • 6 control inputs for use as lock or group.
    • 11 outputs (open collector).
    • Programmable with buttons on the front.
    • Fully programmable with the SimCON 8 software package.
    • No need for cables to program the unit.
     

    BNWAS

    The Bridge Navigational Watch Alarm System (BNWAS) has the following specifications:
    • External input for reset, e.g. using motion sensors.
    • External input for heading and / or track system.
    • External selection dormant time 3-6-9-12 minutes.
    • Outputs for Voyage Data Recorder (VDR).
    • Complies with IMO resolution MSC 128 (75).
