PEM4 efficiency monitoring systems at NOR shipping 2015

MAS Fluid Control AS will be exhibiting at NOR Shipping this year to present the latest product portfolio of VAF Instruments efficiency monitoring systems, fuel flowmeters, oil discharge monitoring equipment and viscosity sensors. Moreover we will be presenting our new generation PEM4 efficiency monitoring systems in combination with the TT-Sense Thrust & Torque measurement system.

HURTIGRUTEN:

Together with Norwegian cruise operator Hurtigruten we have installed a PEM4 efficiency monitoring system on board of M/V Finnmarken, which is one of the major vessels of Hurtigrutens’ fleet. This PEM4 system is monitoring 2 main engines, 2 gensets and a boiler together with the propeller thrust and power at both propeller shaftlines.

At the PEM4 touch screens in the ECR and on the bridge the Hurtigruten crew can precisely monitor their fuel consumption per consumer and KPI’s like propeller, engine and ship efficiency.
