VAF Instruments on HafenTV at NRW.TV - Tonight at 22.30 CET

Tonight at 22.30 CET, VAF Instruments will appear in the new episode of HafenTV broadcast on NRW.TV, the nationwide television channel Nordrhein-Westfalen. This feature will be about our products and solutions, including the ViscoSense®, Flowmeters, T-Sense® and TT-Sense®.

Supported by IMO regulations the trend to retrofit ships started in 2013, making the existing fleet environmental friendly and fuel efficient. With our solutions including T-Sense® shaft power torque meter or TT-Sense® Torque & Thrust meter on board of vessels, our customers have seen able to monitor savings up to 10% on fuel.

To obtain further insight in engine efficiency and total fuel consumption, VAF can supply the PEM4 fuel efficiency monitoring system including input connections for a very large variety of fuel systems. The system is able to monitor up to 12 flowmeters (6 separate consumers) and can additionally be connected to speedlog or GPS.

VAF continues to improve existing products, with a focus on fuel efficiency and environmental solutions. Soon we will introduce the Viscosense® 3D, taking the next step in measuring reliable actual density and viscosity, which gives ship-owners a possibility to monitor fuel consumption in kilograms, monitor bunker oil density, detect cappuccino during bunkering and use CCAI for an optimal fuel ignition quality.
