T-Sense Optical Torque Measuring systems

The VAF T-Sense® Optical Torque Measuring System is a non-contact, high-precision solution for real-time monitoring of torque, shaft speed, and power.
It is available in various configurations, designed for easy installation on propeller or drive shafts ranging from 100 mm to 1000 mm in diameter.

The T-Sense® system provides direct insight into engine and propulsion efficiency, enabling fuel savings of up to 10%. It helps prevent overload, supports performance-based maintenance, and is suitable for continuous operation under harsh maritime and industrial conditions.

Using advanced optical sensor technology and wireless data transfer, the T-Sense® delivers stable, maintenance-free performance with an accuracy better than 0.25% F.S.D.
